The Twilight saga super-star Robert Pattinson is allegedly to be the foremost selection to act the lead role in the big-screen version ‘American Idiot’, the hit Broadway musical movie.
The ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ stud has enchanted with both the acting and singing quality’s to carry out this role and obviously he has been recognized and roped in for the lead role in ‘American Idiot’ movie.
According to the sources, “The Green Day front-man Billie Joe Armstrong thinks that, Robert Pattinson would be the perfect role in a movie version of the band’s smash Broadway musical American Idiot. R-Patz fan site Robstenation harkens back to the original 2009 website article, in which Billie Joe admitted Rob as his first choice:
“I am gonna say maybe that kid in Twilight hunk. … He is a good actor. There is still more to come with that kid, and more to come?”
The Broadway musical ‘American Idiot’ is explained as a story that surrounds on three dis-affected young men – Tunny, Will and Johnny. Johnny and Tunny, runs away from the constrained parents and looking for meaning in life and try out the excitement and freedom of the city.
However, The British actor would love to do the lead role in ‘American Idiot’, he has not done a “music” character yet and to play an artist in this Broadway turning big-screen production will be actually awesome to seen R-Patz in this role.
Robert Pattinson was also in discussions to star-cast in the Jeff Buckley biopic, but that appeared to go away faster than it surfaced. American Idiot is the seventh studio album by the American punk rock band Green Day, which was hit United States on September 21, 2004.
However, R-Patz likes for music, it makes sense that he may be a fit for the ‘American Idiot’ lead role, though nothing has been made official.
