Shia LaBeouf to play Gigantic Man in ‘A Giant’

Shia LaBeouf seems that he is eyeing in big gigantic movies. In this reason, having starred opposite to the gigantic robots in the ‘Transformers’ film franchise, he will now be giant itself in his upcoming movie.

The 25-year-old actor, Shia LaBeouf will be casting to play a 20-foot-tall man child in a movie project which has the working title as ‘A Giant’. As per the source, the movie project is written by Gil Kenan which says the story about a girl who runs away from a series of bad relationship and moves back home to her brother. Then she gets entangled in a quirky love story with a gigantic man which will be played by LaBeouf who lives next to her brother’s house.

However, besides serving as the screenwriter, Kenan also tackles the directorial duty. Meanwhile, Lisa Henson, Jason Lust and India Osbourne will be serving as the producers and till now no studio has acquired the rights to distribute the movie. It is rumoured that Universal Pictures is eyeing to take up the distribution duties.

Besides the June 29th released ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’, Shia has already had other projects in the new future. He has been wrapped for ‘The Wettest Country in the World’ and currently he is busy in filming the Robert Redford’s forthcoming political film ‘The Company You Keep’.
