‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 13 Episode 6 Broadway Night Recap

’Dancing With the Stars’ season 13 episode 6, has witnessed the remaining seven celebrity contestants taking the stage to perform on Broadway night theme.

The seven celebrity contestants along with their professional dancing partners, took to the stage to perform in the sixth episode of season 13 ‘Dancing With the Stars’, in the presence of judging panel Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Anna Inaba and Len Goodman. The contestants performed the tracks of popular musical theater shows, as a part of Broadway night theme. Carson Kressley, the eliminated contestant of last week appeared on the show as a creative director.

Robert Kardashian and Cheryl Burke did Cha-Cha on ‘Walk Like a Man’ from Jersey Boys. The judges commented that, the performance was clean, precise and had a good timing of the movements. However, they felt for much rhythm, which Rob did not have, as he was stiff. The pair was scored with 22 points out of 30 points. Nancy Grace and Tristan McManus performed Foxtrot on ‘Always Look On the Bright Side of the Life’ from ‘Spamalot’. The judges on the performance said that, Nancy has done the perfect Foxtrot, as she got the feel of the music with sense of humor of the routine. They scored 24 points out of 30.

David Arquette and Kym Johnson did ‘Quickstep’ on ‘We Go Together’ from Grease. The judges admitted that, it was a tough number to perform and to live up to the expectations and David has did it by living up to it and appreciated that, the performance got energy and full on and had a great technique. The pair got the score of 23 points. Ricki Lake and Derek Hough performed Quickstep on ‘Luck Be a Lady’ from Guys and Dolls. The judges said that, the routine has proved that, Ricki is talented and was flying and added that, it was fabulous and loved it a lot. They also admired that, it was brilliant and dazzling showmanship. They scored 29 points out of 30 points.

Chaz Bono and Lacey Schwimmer did Tango on ‘Phantom of the Opera’ from ‘Phantom of the Opera’. The judges on the performance commented that, it was a different kind of Tango and he was not up to his performance, as it should have been aggressive and dangerous. The pair scored 19 points. Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy performed Rumba on ‘Seasons of Love’ from Rent. The judges said that, Hope is putting all her efforts into her movements and its quality and she has got more, which has to come out and added that, her shoes were holding her feet and it was her worst performance of the season. They scored 20 points out of 30.

JR Martinez and Karina Smirnoff performed Quickstep on ‘Hot Honey Rag’ from Chicago. The judges were very impressed of his performance and commented that, he was truly relentless and has overtaken one of the best quicksteps of the show. They added that, the performance was exciting and rip roaring and a perfect one. The pair scored 29 points out of 30 points.
