Chris Brown set to play in ‘Planet B Boy’ movie

Chris Brown who made a tremendous comeback from his hit singles of ‘F.A.M.E.’ to his tour and even his AMAs and Soul Train nominations, 2011 has definitely been Chris’s year. Chris Brown can boost his movie discography with his latest role. Now, he is set to play in ‘Planet B Boy’ to show his break-dancing skills.

As per the sources, the 22-year-old R&B singer, Chris Brown has been tapped to star alongside Laz Alonso, Josh Peck, Josh Holloway and Caity Lotz in a new dance film entitled ‘Planet B Boy’. The movie will be directed by Benson Lee and the film focuses on an international break-dancing battle that raises little questions about why Brown was recruited for the role.

Chris Brown has been known for his eclectic dance moves on stage and even on screen. In the recently released statement about ‘Planet B Boy’ read that it is about an all-star American B-Boy crew training to compete in France at the Battle of the Year (BOTY) International Championships. It is also read that after a decade of defeat, the crew and their coach must go up against the best and greatest B-Boys in the world. In addition from ‘Stomp The Yard’, Chris Brown has also starred in ‘This Christmas’ and ‘Takers’.
