Justin Bieber joins Selena Gomez to host 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards

The ‘Mistletoe’ singer, Justin Bieber has been lined up for the act for MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast on Sunday. Bieber joins Selena Gomez and hosts for the night show. MTV has announced that Justin Bieber and DJ David Guetta were the final acts to be named for the award show alongside Lady Gaga, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Coldplay set to perform on the night.

Besides them, the surviving members of Queen are also expected on stage for a special performance and to receive the Global Icon Award. The MTV Europe Music Awards is said to be one of the biggest nights in music outside the United States.

Coldplay have just released their 5th studio album ‘Mylo Xyloto’ and has topped that Britain charts and likely to repeat their success in US, after the official figures are released. Queen will be a draw for the older members of the crowd at Odyssey Arena besides Gaga being the most provocative music stars and along with the teenage sensations Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. Lady Gaga has been named as the big winner in 2012, and this year she is leading with six nominations that include Best Female, Best Live Act and Best pop act, also followed by Bruno and Jaty with four each besides Adele, Justin and 30 Seconds to Mars are nominated for three each.
