Taylor Lautner has been set to star and produce the forthcoming adaptation untitled Indie movie, directed by Gus Van Sant.
The ‘Twilight Saga’ franchise star Taylor Lautner is moving in to the production zone, apart from being an actor. Gus has also directed the movie ‘Drugstore Cowboy’. The movie is based on a non-fiction article of The New Yorker magazine.
Besides starring in the movie, the 19-year-old Jacob Black of ‘Twilight’ series will also serve as the producer of the movie, which is a small-budget project. However, the further details of the project have not been revealed. But, the reports suggest that, an announcement about the screen writer of the movie would be made this week and the production of the movie project is expected to kickoff in the first quarter of 2012.
Lautner will produce the movie along with his father Dan Lautner, through their banner Quick Six.
