“Skyfall” confirmed as 23rd James Bond film title. Daniel Craig and Javier Bardem are playing the lead roles under the direction of Sam Mendes.
Few details regarding the 23rd 007 flick were revealed at press conference in London and the production of the movie is going to start on Monday. The movie producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli had arranged a launch event at London’s Corinthia Hotel in Whitehall and invited 130 media persons across the world.
The title “Skyfall” seemed that there is no connection to any Ian Fleming novel or other Bond books. In 2002, the bond was made with unique title “Die Another Day”. The producers of the movie did not reveal the meaning of the title and confirmed it is not sequel to the Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.
The movie is going to release in November 2012. Daniel Craig is playing the James Bond role, Oscar winner Javier Bardem is set to play as Bond villain and Berenice Marlohe was confirmed as Bond girl. Veteran actor Albert Finney, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and Dame Judi Dench are also included in the cast.
During the conference, Daniel said he was tremendously excited by the cast assembled for Skyfall and they’ve assembled an incredible crew. Direcetor Mendes said Bond will go to Shanghai, Istanbul and the wilds of Scotland as per the story. He also stated the movie including several action parts along with classic elements.
