The 45th Annual Country Music Association Awards has been banged by the celebs styles on the red carpet, as stars Carrie Underwood & Matt Nathanson stepped out on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
Among those looking lovely celebs on the red carpet were Carrie Underwood and Matt Nathanson. Sugarland teamed with Matt Nathanson to gig the song ‘Run’ at the 2011 CMA Awards. The teaming is perfect when you consider that the song was composed by Sugarland and Nathanson.
Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles, wore an inform-fitting gold pants, leather jacket and heels. She sang the duet with the jeans and casual shirt dressed Nathanson, while Kristian Bush escorted them on guitar.
The song track is featured on Nathanson’s latest album, ‘Modern Love,’ which debuted at No. 17 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart list. Sugarland competed at the ‘2011 CMA Awards’ for ‘Vocal Duo of the Year’ against the Thompson Square, Steel Magnolia, Montgomery Gentry and Civil Wars.
The 28-year-old Carrie Underwood, who serves as the gig’s co-host with Brad Paisley for the fourth consecutive season, sparkled in a gold-sequined ball gown with top sleeves by Reem Acra. The ‘Female Vocalist of the Year’ nominee dressed her hair down and completed her look with a champagne satin grip, drop earrings and a cocktail ring.
Another young pop-singer bringing a lovely touch to the red carpet, the 21-year-old Taylor Swift brought her lovely style, as the “Speak Now” singer opted to go with a silver gown. On the special evening, she is competing for the ‘Best Song’ gongs with her single “Mean” and is likely to entertain the audience with her live concert.
