The Red Hot Chili Peppers are returning with a bang on the road next year in order to support their comeback album, ‘I’m With You’. Anthony Kiedis fronted the West Coast band has announced that they will be roaring on the world tour and launch it with a North American leg starting on January 2012.
The Hot Chili Peppers have revealed six dates of the upcoming tour. However, the tickets for the confirmed shows are going to be made available for purchase beginning on 3rd December. Besides, the other shows will be announced later on the coming weeks alongside the info about ticket on-sale dates. The band has last toured in 2007 in-order to promote their album ‘Stadium Arcadium’.
The band has kicked off in February 2006 and has stayed on road until summer, the following year. They have taken a long break after they have wrapped up their gig to that led to John Frusciante’s new solo album release and departure. It has been after 4 years in hiatus that the band has come back last summer by dropping ‘I’m With You’.
The album ‘I’m With You’ is led by single ‘The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie’ where the CD has debuted at No. 2 on Billboard Hot 200 and has bagged the No. 1 spot on U.K album chart. Before the release of the album, they played a secret show on the lawn outside the Henry Miller Memorial Library in Big Sur, CA.
