Kelly Clarkson ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas cover version has been unleashed and joins the list of celebrities who treated their fans with new music.
The former winner of the ‘American Idol’ inaugural season Kelly Clarkson, is getting into the spirit of upcoming Christmas season by singing the yuletide classic ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas’. The singer has premiered a cover version of 1943 festive favorite ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas’, which is expected to be released in the forthcoming weeks. Kelly kept it classy in the cover version.
The song ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas’ was released hot on wheels at American Country Awards 2011, in which she won two awards. She celebrated the victory with her twitter followers and posted a tweet saying, she just found out that, she has won two awards with Jason Aldean, who won six awards in total topping the American Country Awards 2011 winners list. The rendition has also been featured on her new 8-track iTunes Session that will be available for download on December 27, 2011.
The original song was written by Kim Gannon, Walter Kent and Buck Ram during 40s and since then it has been covered by a range of various artists, which also include the music stars like Michael Buble and Elvis Presley. The ‘Mr. Know it All’ singer has performed the song during earlier Christmas concerts, but for the first time it has been available for the fans to listen a studio version of the classic track. Besides, Kelly also confirmed that, she would be releasing ‘What Doesn’t Kill You’ as second cut of her ‘Stronger’ album.
