I am not Oprah Winfrey, says Queen Latifah

Oprah Winfrey, the best television host of the United States has been compared to Queen Latifah. But, Latifah is saying that she is no Oprah Winfrey. The former rapper, also actress is prepping for her return to the daytime television and people believes that she would replace the place of Oprah. The people went on to buzz that she will fill the void left by the former queen of daytime but, Latifah has refused the comparison in an interview with Essence Magazine.

The 41-year-old Grammy Winner has told that people say she is going to be the next Oprah. She told that she is not, and Oprah is Oprah. She stressed that she will be the next me and she feels like there is always a lane for her as long as she is true to herself.

Speaking apart from her forthcoming talk show, Latifah also gushed about providing a clothing line for curvy women like herself. The Leslie Wright of ‘Just Wright’ has explained that a lot of manufacturers do not respect the curvaceous woman and they do not respect their dollar or their shape. The Academy Award nominee also said that her partnership with Home Shopping Network has been such a great thing and she is happy to be able to make women’s clothing she really like. She added that everything in the line is something she would wear herself.

Earlier, in January issue, Queen Latifah has shared to Essence Magazine about how she rose from the streets of Newark to the pinnacle of the entertainment industry. Latifah’s entire interview will be available for reading on January’s issue across the United States on 12^th December.
