Justin Bieber ‘Christmas in Washington’ concert with Barack Obama

The President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama have struck a festive note with the likes of many celebrities that includes Justin Bieber, Jennifer Hudson, Victoria Justice and others at the ‘Christmas in Washington’ concert. The concert was hosted by Canon O’Brien.

The 30^th annual concert was held at Washington’s National Building Museum Sunday night. It was conducted as a support of the Children’s National Medical Center. The guests who attended the concert are President Obama, his wife, daughters and mother-in-law, Marian Robinson.

President Obama has spoken very briefly about Jesus’ birth to the crowds and has highlighted the basic values of generosity, compassion and faithfulness. He said that those are the values that are shared by all faiths. He added that so tonight, let all of them rededicate themselves to each other and in that spirit from his family to others.

Before the concert, Obama and his wife were presented a basket of books to patients of the children’s medical centre who were dressed adorably as elves. Besides Bieber, Hudson and Vitoria, the other entertainers include the United States Naval Academy Glee Club, United States Army Band Herald Trumpets, Washington Youth Choir, Ian Fraser and Christmas in Washington Orchestra. The concert will be aired on Friday on American TV channel TNT.
