"U2 and Taylor Swift Biggest-Grossing Tours 2011"U2 and Taylor Swift have been named as the artists of the biggest grossing tours 2011, including both world and US tours.

The Bono leaded band ‘U2’ rules the list of biggest grossing tours 2011, though they have not released any album in this year. But still, they managed to earn huge money globally, through their 360 tour which earned $231.9 million, while ‘Take That’ is in the second place with $224 million from their world tour. The U2 is trailed by Billboard Woman of the Year 2011 Taylor Swift, who earned $97.7 million from her US tours.

U2 has launched the leg of the traveling show in 2007, to promote their twelfth studio album ‘No Line on the Horizon’, ‘The Edge’ and his bandmates earned from a total ticket sales of 2.3 million at an average price of $97.15. Besides, the group has allegedly sold 91,000 tickets per show. U2 has also been the leaders in Top US tours with $156 million. Jon Bon Jovi and his band are in third place with $148.8, through their global tour and $57.1 million from US tours, in the past twelve months to promote ‘The Circle’.

The ‘Speak Now’ hit maker Taylor Swift is in fourth place with $104.2 million, through her global tour, followed by Roger Waters the former member of Pink Floyd, who earned an estimated $10.3.6 million through the world tour with his ‘The Wall Live’. In the US tours Kenny Chesney is in third place with $84.6 million, while the ‘Mother Monster’ is in fourth place with $63.7 million.
