Emily Maynard has been confirmed to be the next ‘Bachelorette’ in the forthcoming eighth season, as she is looking out for love again.

The 25-year-old single mother from North Carolina has signed to star in the upcoming eighth season of ‘The Bachelorette’. The blonde beauty is looking out for love again, after she was proposed by Brad Womack on ‘Bachelor’, followed by their break-up in the next few weeks. She will start filming the show in March. She was also rumored to have moved on from Womack by dating Carolina Panthers pro-footballer Jeremy Shocker.

Reportedly, Emily Maynard was reluctant to star in ‘Bachelorette’, as she does not want to be away from her daughter Ricki. However, the reports suggested that, ABC has moved the production to her hometown Charlotte in North Carolina. Bentley Williams, who left Ashley Hebert heart broken and devastated in the last season of ‘Bachelorette’, is reportedly interested to compete to win Maynard’s heart.

As for Maynard’s alleged relationship with Jeremy Shocker, they have been reportedly set on a blind date, who lives in the same Southern State. They have been set through a mutual friend of the Panther’s staff. They have also been to dinner at BLT Steak in Charlotte’s Ritz-Carlton hotel. The close source of Maynard said that, they went out for five times. The source added that, Emily feels Jeremy is nice, but just having fun. However, it seems that the short term romance is over.
