’Captain America 2’ a sequel to ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ has been alleged to start its production by the end of this year.
A question about the production of ‘Captain America 2’ has finally been answered, after it has been reported of starting its production this year. The details were revealed by Neal McDonough in an interview to IMDB TV, who played the role of Dum Dum Dugan in the first movie. He revealed that, the ‘Captain America 2’ will start filming by the end of this year. Besides, he also hinted about the possibility of Nick Fury movie.
The ‘Band of Brothers’ actor said that, Marvel Studios are planning to start the ‘Captain America’ sequel production by the end of this year, as they prefer doing one movie at a time. They would be going with ‘Captain America 2’, as soon as they complete ‘Thor 2’. During the discussions about ‘Captain America 2’, he also opened up about a standalone Nick Fury movie, being planned by Marvel. He shared that, it might be started just after the ‘Captain America’ sequel is wrapped.
The 45-year-old ‘Minority Report’ stars expressed his excitement over Nick Fury movie, as it features Samuel Jackson and him. The reason behind this is, Dum Dum Dugan is the right hand of Nick Fury in the real Marvel Universe. He also expressed his hope of getting the 70s set for the movie. He further added that, it would be awesome and a treat working with Jackson, who has already become friend over the years.
The ‘Captain America’ sequel will have Chris Evans returning to reprise his titular superhero role. Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus have been locked as the screenwriters for the movie. The first movie was released on July 22, 2011 and emerged as the smash hit movie. Lets wish the ‘Captain America 2’ to get the same results.
