Adele To Perform live at 54th Annual Grammys

Adele is all set to perform live at at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards on February 12th, marking her first live performance in five months after undergoing vocal cord surgery.

The British singer has been nominated for 6 Grammys including record of the year and song of the year for ‘Rolling in the Deep’. Adele is not new to the Grammys as she has already won the honors of Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at 2009′s Grammy Awards. Her sophomore album 21 which debuted in last January has made Adele into mainstream music success.

The British song bird’s first performance in quite some time will fall on the night of February 12th, 2012 at the 54th annual Grammy Awards. The dazzling singer notes her return to the stage in a released statement saying that, she is greatly proud to have been asked to perform at this year’s GRAMMY Awards. It is an absolute honor to be included in such a night, and for it to be her first performance in months is very exciting and of course nerve-racking, but what a way to get back into it all.

Adele had to cancel so many of her 2011 performances due to a tragic vocal hemorrhage, and now that she’s gotten all of her surgery and recovery under control, Adele is pleased to announce the beginning of her 2012 roster. It will be interesting to see if her voice has changed at all since undergoing the surgery.

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards is scheduled to hold on February 12^th, 2012.
