David Beckham has named as the Sexiest Man on the Planet of 2012 by a magazine. Heat magazine has just unveiled their inaugural list of 101 Hottest Hunks on the Planet, and the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer star overcomes Ryan Gosling and Ryan Reynolds who were second and third respectively.

The 36-year-old athlete, Heat editor Lucie Cave said, their readers and panel of experts clearly have impeccable taste as there is actually no-one more deserving of the title ‘Sexiest Man on the Planet 2012′ other than David Beckham. She added, he is got the lot of talent, style, sex appeal, charisma. Women adore him, men want to be him, and they are absolutely thrilled that he has topped our poll.

Football icon David Beckham has been crowned as ‘The Sexiest Man on the Planet’ in Heat magazine’s inaugural 101 Hottest Hunks in the World list. Heat is known for showcasing the hottest celebrity hunk around the world, but for the first time they have decided to conduct a poll for the the sexiest men in the world.

Joining Beckham in the top 5 are Bradley Cooper and Jake Gyllenhaal. Other hunks making it into the full list includes Robert Pattinson, Tom Hardy George Clooney and Adam Levine.
