Justin Timberlake has been confirmed to star in a role, in the forthcoming baseball drama flick ‘Trouble with the Curve’.
The 31-year-old singer turned actor Justin Timberlake has been set to star in the upcoming baseball drama movie ‘Trouble with the Curve’. He has been alleged to play the character of Clint Eastwood’s friend Johnny Flanagan in the movie. His character is believed to be the former pitcher, who is the current baseball scout of the New York Yankees. The reports also suggest that, he would also be the love interest of Amy Adams character, who plays the role of Eastwood’s daughter.
In the movie, Clint Eastwood will play the character of an aging baseball scout, who loses his sight and heads on the last road trip to Atlanta with his daughter, in order to scout a hotshot prospect. The movie will be directed by Robert Lorenz, while Randy Brown serves as the screenwriter. Besides, the ‘Trouble with the Curve’ will mark the first acting project, since his last film ‘Gran Torino’ in the year 2008. At that time, he said that it could probably be his last acting movie and also hinted about his comeback someday.
As for the ‘Social Network’ actor Justin Timberlake, he will next be seen in the upcoming movie ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ a folk music film directed by Coen brothers, in which he stars opposite Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan. His last movie was ‘Bad Teacher’ an adult comedy, ‘Friends with Benefits’ and ‘In Time’ an action movie. The ‘Trouble with the Curve’ is expected to start its production this March and has been scheduled for the US release on September 28, 2012.
