Zoe Saldana is allegedly in negotiations to star in the forthcoming revenge drama movie ‘Out of Furnace’, who might star opposite Christian Bale.
It seems that, the 33-year-old ‘Star Trek’ star Zoe Saldana might end up in another role of a high-profiled movie project, as she is allegedly in negotiations to star in the upcoming drama movie ‘Out of Furnace’. If the deal gets locked then she would join ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ star Christian Bale, who would play the role of his ex-wife a waitress married to a town’s sheriff currently. However, the project is still in hunt of actors to tackle the roles of Bale’s uncle and young brother.
According to the sources, Robert Duvall is being considered to play the role of Bale’s uncle, while Casey Affleck has been alleged as the frontrunner to tackle the character of young brother. Nevertheless, no formal offers have been made to both the actors in regard to the respective characters. The upcoming movie is a dark drama that has been set in 1986 in Indiana, which follows the character Slim played by Bale a newlt freed man looking to keep his promise to marry his long-suffering girlfriend.
However, his goal gets changed when he discovers that his young brother has been killed after getting involved in a gambling racket. Now, he sets himself to take revenge of his brother’s murderer. Scott Cooper of ‘Crazy Heart’ will direct and provide the script for the movie ‘Out of the Furnace’. Ridley Scott and brother Tony will join Leonardo DiCaprio and Brooklyn Weaver to produce the movie. As for ‘Avatar’ star Zoe Saldana, she was recently seen in action flick ‘Colombiana’ and ‘The Words’. She is currently busy with untitled Star Trek sequel in which she reprises her role as Nyota Uhura.
