Katy Perry 3D concert movie has been green signaled by Paramount Pictures and has been scheduled for the US release this summer.
The 27-year-old ‘E.T’ hit maker seems to be following the footsteps of the teen pop sensation Justin Bieber and the late pop King Michael Jackson, as Katy Perry 3D concert movie is getting ready, as she wants to make her own concert documentary movie. Paramount Pictures has officially approved and has also been scheduled for the US release this summer.
Katy Perry 3D concert movie news has been confirmed by the ‘Firework’ singer herself on her twitter account saying, her movie is coming out through Paramount this summer and revealed the title of the movie ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me’ which would be filmed in 3D. A source also revealed the 3D movie is very close to get its director, as Magical Elves comprising producing duo Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz are in negotiation with Paramount Pictures to direct the Katy Perry 3D concert movie.
’Katy Perry: Part of Me’ is carved as a concert-documentary movie about the ‘Last Friday Night’ singer’s life on and off the stage and the fans perspective on her. However, it was reportedly revealed earlier that, the singer’s concert movie is being developed similarly to Justin Bieber’s concert film. Katy Perry 3D concert movie follows the successful documentary films of the celebrities in the recent past years like Miley Cyrus who made ‘Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour’ that grossed $65 million domestically in 2008.
In the year 2009, ‘Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience’ followed in the same successful path. However, the highest grossing concert movie so far is Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’ which grossed a huge $261.2 million, while the ‘Under the Mistletoe’ singer Justin Bieber’s ‘Never Say Never’ grossed $73 million. Let’s wish Katy Perry 3D concert movie ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me’ that has been set for summer release be a huge hit.
